'Subprime' to play Cleveland as part of Ohio Independent Film Festival film series November 18th

[Press release from filmmaker James Repici.]

SUBPRIME, an independently produced drama about the financial crisis directed by James Repici, will screen at Arts Collinwood on Friday November 18th as part of the Ohio Independent Film Festival film series. I don't have a firm showtime right now, but I believe films in this series start at 7pm. Check the OIFF website for more info, hopefull

The film's press release describes it as, "An authentic account of the business practices within a subprime mortgage brokerage during the boom and bust of the most bullish era of the mortgage industry’s history. Based on true events that occurred in every major city in America. Subprime chronicles a young mortgage broker’s journey through the ups and downs of a volatile and corrupt industry. Written by two industry insiders with over 20 years of brokerage, banking, auditing and fraud analysis experience – and a PAGE International Screenwriting Competition Finalist. Featuring a talented young cast of Florida and Los Angeles actors and the first film role by Playboy’s Mrs. July 2010, Shanna McLaughlin. Timely, relevant and compelling – Subprime has affected us all."
